Cayenne Zoo

Route: Kourou – Cayenne (120 km).

Cayenne Zoo together with the Botanical Gardens is located 25 kilometers from the capital. Coming from Kourou it remains almost next to the road. Only 8 km from the big road.

And according to the TripAdvisor The Zoo is the attraction no.3 of Cayanne, which means that here would be no passing without visiting it. And the first half of the day was again filled.




The zoo is open every day from 09.30 to 17.30, the place is easy to find, and has a large parking lot.




The first impression - clean, wide, green.

And here, in this zoo there is a bird cage with the dimensions of a hangar. Just to enjoy walking inside.










In conclusion - quite a nice and decent small zoo, it will take a couple of hours for a thorough review, there are mostly local animals and birds.

The Zoo was shadowy, but not the parking lot, by midday the car was hot inside like a sauna - nearly 40 degrees.
