Antarctica, Day 5
Last night it was said that if the weather permits there will be an unplanned early boat-ride in the morning at 7.00 and therefore it will be necessary to get up at 6 o`clock. And it was emphasized that everything depended on the weather and the wind speed and wave height.
Only there was no morning alarm and the next landing was at 9 am. The sky was cloudy and the water came from every possible direction.
Trinity Island, the Harbour of Mikkelsen. These are slightly different images, the sun is not shining and the penguins are not posing with their bright-white bellies at the right angle.
The ground is with white and brown stripes and lying on the ground turns the bellies of the penguins the same.
At least these old barrels are wind-protectors
One and a half hour - and then back to the ship.
The route to Trinity Island. This afternoon we had a two- hour Zodiak trip ... without landing. We were suggested to put on warm clothes but the weather was great.
Pingviinid
Back towards the ship, two hours passed somehow very quickly
Cierva Cove is on the map no.5
To be continued ...
